Organic Strawberry Purée Matcha Latte

Ingredients

For the Organic Strawberry Purée:

  • 1 part organic strawberries, stems removed

  • 1 part organic cane sugar

  • 1 part water

For the Matcha Latte:

  • 1 tsp Chachi Matcha

  • 1/4 cup hot water at 173 degrees

  • 1 cup organic milk of your choice (we love organic whole milk!)

  • Ice

Instructions

1. Make the Organic Strawberry Purée In a small saucepan, combine the organic strawberries, organic cane sugar, and water. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved and the strawberries have softened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender or use a hand blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. Set this aside.

2. Prepare the Matcha In a separate bowl, add your Chachi Matcha powder. Pour in the hot water and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk (or a small electric whisk) until the matcha is completely dissolved and a frothy layer forms on top. Set this aside.

3. Assemble Your Masterpiece Grab a tall glass and gently spoon the organic strawberry purée into the bottom. This will be your beautiful red layer.

Next, carefully add ice cubes to the glass, filling it about three quarters of the way. The ice will help keep the layers from mixing too quickly.

Slowly and carefully pour your milk over the ice. You should see a distinct white layer forming above the purée.

Finally, gently pour your prepared matcha on top of the milk. The vibrant green will create a stunning third layer, completing your layered creation.

Stir gently just before drinking to combine all the flavors. Enjoy!
